Regional Instructor of the Year 2021

Nominations for this award will be for any gender community instructors who excel in their field and have exceptional qualities in all aspects of community fitness, regardless of what they teach.

Regions will consist of North East, North West, Midlands, South East, South West, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, Channel Islands

Regional Team/Group Award 2021

This award honours the group that exemplifies what can be done when people work together. this is for groups of instructors or community based fitness businesses with multiple instructors

Dance Brand 2021

This award will recognise the branded dance-based fitness programmes that have regenerated community fitness in the UK.

Eligible brands will focus on a full-bodied aerobic fitness using coordinated dance and/or fitness movements to music using a variety of dance styles to different music tracks. 

Brands must be endorsed or in progress for endorsement with an industry body such as CIMSPA, REPS, or EMD UK. 

Non - Dance Brand 2021

This award will recognise the branded non-dance-based fitness programmes that focus on cardio, strength, endurance, flexibility and balance without reliance on choreographed transitions as a prime motivator. 

Brands must be endorsed or in progress for endorsement with an industry body such as CIMSPA, REPS, or EMD UK. 

Inspiring Young People and Children 2021

Nominations for this award will be for those community instructors or groups of instructors who are teaching the next generation how to be fit, healthy and happy with exercise and making a positive impact on the communities they live in

Inclusive Award 2021

Nominations for this award will be for any community instructor or group who strive to remove barriers to community fitness and promote an inclusive offering

Community Impact Award 2021

This award recognises an instructor or business who have devised a project for community benefit using physical based activities

Nominees must evidence the impact their project has had within their entry

Social Inclusion Award 2021

Social health plays a big part in the wellbeing of communities, especially in older adults

This award recognises the activities created by an instructor or business which focus' on the social health of their participants

Presenter 2021

Nominations for this award will be for those community instructors or groups of instructors who are teaching the next generation how to be fit, healthy and happy with exercise and making a positive impact on the communities they live in

Community Fitness Newcomer 2021

Nominations for this award will have less than 24 months’ experience in the fitness industry and yet be able to demonstrate outstanding commitment to the community they serve

This award does not need to be an instructor, but can also be someone working towards that, or a volunteer in your business

This award is for individual people only and not open to brands, training providers or teams

Inspirational Participant 2021

Has a participant gone above and beyond for your community? Do they inspire you daily?

This award will be honoured to a participant who inspires the community around them.

 

This award is for participants only and is to be filled out by an instructor or another class member

Contribution to Industry 2021

This award is aimed at a stand out person or business who has dedicated their career or a large portion of their career to contributing towards the fitness industry and it's growth

Community Fitness Facility 2021

Nominations for this award will be for those community community based facilities who have a focus on improving the physical, mental and social wellbeing of those who live in the locality. A community facility must be financially accessible and not only offer medium/long term membership contracts

Supplier 2021

Nominations for this award will be for those who supply a product, service or both to the community fitness industry.
